At 9 a.m. and 12 noon EDT this Sunday, Jonathan interviews arts and civic activist Amy Chin this Sunday; and they dig deeply into New York City’s Chinatown, its culture, its community, Think! Chinatown Art Week 2020 and yes, dance!
They track Amy’s transition from child dance student to program officer at the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, director and/or consultant to numerous arts agencies, foundations and non-profit organizations to her present position as President of Think! Chinatown.
In the afternoon, New York City-based Chinese dance specialist Ling Tang introduces her artistry through a class at 2 p.m. and a solo performance at 4 p.m.
