Maureen Steinhorn

Development Intern

Maureen has had a life-long passion for dance. She began her training at three years old, and her passion for dance only grew throughout her undergraduate years at Connecticut College. She is currently a Performing Arts Administration Masters Candidate at New York University, and hopes to increase international access to dance through her work as an arts administrator in the future. In her past life, Maureen worked in tech sales at New York City mission-based startups, like WayUp and Sawyer, and is looking forward to incorporating many of the skills learned through these roles into her future career. She is delighted to take her work outside of the classroom during her internship at Battery Dance, and is particularly excited by the international scope of the organization and the upcoming Festival this summer!
