Deborah Corrales is originally from Southern California where she trained as a dancer at Orange County School of Arts. Corrales has a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, and an MA in Arts Administration from Baruch College. During her performance career, she worked with Camille A. Brown, Anna Conner, Sandra Marin Garcia (Kidd Pivot), Ming Yang, Danielle Agami, Mark Haim, John Jasperse, and more. She has also taught, developed and founded arts education programs focusing on dance and visual arts throughout Seattle and New York for over 10 years. As the Program Coordinator at Studio Institute, a visual arts non-profit dedicated to arts education, she managed the Teen Apprenticeship Program and was assistant to the Manager of the Create NYC PD Program. Most recently, she worked at The Joyce Theater as their Programming Assistant under the direction of Aaron Mattocks. Corrales’ career goals are to continue in arts administration, aiding artists locally and internationally.
