Support the costs of theater rental, technical crew and lighting for four performances at Schimmel Center for the Arts including two matinees for New York City public school children, the 40th Anniversary Gala performance, and an evening performance for the general public.

GOLD COMMISSIONING ANGEL – $15,000
Support the rehearsal costs for The Durga Project, the Company’s newest production that will serve as the highlight of its 40th Anniversary Season and its next national tour of India.

Support the participation of Indian Guest Artist Unnath H.R. in The Durga Project – international transporation and honoraria for to workshop periods of 8 weeks.

ANGEL – $5,000
Support the Company’s on-going activities at home and abroad.

*Commissioning Angels will be listed on the Battery Dance website and all social media for the 40th Anniversary year (2016). In addition to the 40th Anniversary Journal, the Angels will be gratefully acknowledge in all print materials related to The Durga Project, including playbills and programs for all domestic and international performances.
