Battery Dance uses its over 40 years of experience  in the field of dance, cultural diplomacy and dance presentation to improve the knowledge capacity of local partners and audiences around the world. In addition to lecturing at American Centers, universities, and dance symposiums/conferences in over 25 countries, Battery Dance has recently presented at the Foreign Policy Association, World Policy Institute, Aspen Institute’s Cultural Diplomacy Forum, the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, the 92 Street Y, USC’S Annenberg School of Communication, and the MAS Summit, among many others. Technical Training


Battery Dance’s production directors utilize their professional expertise and experience in foreign countries to increase the local capacity of light and sound professionals. This is done through classes, hands-on workshops, consulting on local equipment needs, and assisting with Festival technical oversight. Technical capacity courses have been conducted in over a dozen countries worldwide. Technical oversight and technician training for festivals has occurred in Algeria, Nigeria, and South Africa.
