Jasmine Burelsmith

Jasmine Burelsmith (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist originally from the greater Houston area, and she is currently a 4th-year BFA Dance major at Florida State University (FSU) with minors in Art History and General Business. Beyond that, she is proud to be a first-generation college student and to have presented her dance research-in-progress, “Embracing Cultural Chaos,” at the 2022 Social Theory, Politics, and the Arts Conference in Seoul, South Korea. She has also had the honor of performing professionally with the Tallahassee Ballet and share her choreography at FSU’s 2023 Days of Dance concert, Open Doors North America, the American College Dance Association’s South Conference, and The Tallahassee Ballet’s “Intimate”. Ms. Burelsmith is excited to complete the FSU Arts in NYC program this semester and dive into arts administration as an intern with Battery Dance!
