Introduction to Battery Dance School Programs:
A one-day professional development workshop for teachers 

Get a taste of Battery Dance’s acclaimed program, Dancing to Connect for NYC public schools on January 30, 2024. Company dancers and teaching artists engage in partnerships with schools to develop programs tailored to the needs of their students. Battery Dance’s programs offer opportunities for students to experience the excitement and richness of live dance performances, as well as provide inspirational hands-on training, coaching, and mentoring.

For teacher professional development, we are opening the doors of our studio to teachers interested in learning more about our Dancing to Connect methodology in a free 2-hour workshop from 1 PM to 3 PM on January 30, 2024. Participants will be led through an introductory movement workshop, so comfortable clothes are recommended.
