Arts in Education – Creston Academy

Battery Dance will be conducting a series of hip-hop workshops at Creston Academy in the Bronx. Students will explore dance with a professional hip hop and jazz dancer and educator, touching on the origins of the genre in early African American dance.

20 students will be impacted by this program. 65 students from Cretson will attend the New York Season student matinee performance.

Schedule:
90 minutes, twice a week after school for 12 weeks
