Zaki A’Jani Marshall

Zaki A’Jani Marshall hails from East Orange, New Jersey. He is a new member of Battery Dance. Mr. Marshall has taught and performed in the Company’s international and domestic tours beginning with engagements in the Palestinian Territories, Houston, Texas, and Germany in 2022. Zaki holds a BFA degree in dance performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and did post-graduate training with Alonzo King LINES Ballet. A’Jani was the UArts 2019 Recipient of the Academic Achievement for Service and Leadership award. He has been a member of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company as well as Eleone Dance Theater, Pony Box Dance Theater, and has performed in the work of Will Ervin at Battery Dance Festival and elsewhere.​
