Randall Riley

Randall Riley (he/him) from Mount Vernon, New York, joined Battery Dance in Fall, 2021.  His early passion for movement was first ignited at his local church’s dance ministry and soon after at Ballet Atlantic Academy directed by Leslie Anne Otto. After four years of Long Island University Brooklyn Campus’ BFA program, Randall joined Ronald K Brown’s Evidence a Dance Company. In between touring and performing, he served as a creative intern with Diversity Of Dance in various seasonal programs. Randall is a former member of TU Dance in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he also served as a contributing artist in unique Bon Iver collaboration “Come Through”.  He has had the honor of performing works by Alenka Cizmesija, Bill T Jones, Donald Byrd, Earl Mosley, Ronald K Brown, Sidra Bell, Kyle Abraham, Gioconda Barbuto and Francesca Harper. Having returned to New York, he feels extremely fortunate to continue sharing his work with old and new colleagues and especially now as a member of Battery Dance.
