Battery Dance NOW – Accessibility Information
ASL interpretation will be available for all 7:00PM shows. Live Audio Description will be available on Wednesday night and Saturday night through the Audio Fetch App. If you are able, please download the app onto your smartphone or tablet prior to arrival at the theater. You may use your own headphones or we are happy to provide them upon request. The first floor lobby of New York Live Arts is wheelchair accessible via the street facing double doors next to the main entrance at 219 W 19th Street (between 7th and 8th Avenue). The theater is accessible by elevator. Restrooms throughout the building and theater are wheelchair accessible.
For further access needs, to request seating with prime view of ASL interpreters, or to request a device and/or headphones for Audio Description, please contact friends@batterydance.org.
Currently the 11:00AM matinee on Thursday March 9 does not have ASL of Audio Description booked. If you would like to request Audio Description or ASL for the 11:00AM matinee on Thursday, March 9th please email friends@batterydance.org before March 5th.
